The fun begins Sunday with a four-day weekend - Explore. Relax. Reunite. The Boomerang Family Getaway in Virginia is a unique opportunity for parents to enjoy all that Boar's Head and Charlottesville have to offer while the kids are fully entertained by our top-notch staff with an array of exciting, kid-friendly activities. The Boomerang symbolizes all that our family getaway is about. During the day, families travel in opposite directions only to return back for some quality together-time to fill the remainder of the day.

All families are welcome to join us for this exciting two-day, three-night experience at our stunning family resort. Youth camps are built in to the package. Adults may choose from an assortment of activities at the resort, choose their own adventure in and around Charlottesville, VA, or relax and go at their own pace without the kids.

Your kids will be joining several other children in our weekly summer camps program, so the excitement and energy will be abundant. Keep scrolling to view the camps in relation to the age levels. 

All-Star Camp

Ages 4-6 (Included in Stay Package)
Drop-Off Time: 8:30 a.m. | Pick-Up by 5:30 p.m.

By incorporating learning and exploration into adventure, Kids' Club will offer a dynamic, athletic-based camp to keep your children active and engaged. Lunch is included.

Outfitters Camp

Ages 7-13 (Included in Stay Package)
Drop-Off Time: 8-9 a.m. | Pick-Up by 5:30 p.m.

Our older group of daily campers will have the pleasure of exploring activities ranging from hiking to fire building and orienteering. Our Boar's Head Outfitters team will work as adventure guides to lead your child to exciting experiences that span across our rolling 600 acres. Lunch is included.
