Step inside the magic of the holidays with Laura Dowling, former chief floral designer at the White House. In this special lecture and demonstration, Laura shares her exclusive, behind-the-scenes stories of what it was like to design and decorate America’s most famous house for Christmas, including amusing anecdotes, inspiring creative projects and the spectacular displays that carried out beloved White House traditions.

Guests will also discover Laura’s insider design secrets: how to build elegant color palettes, create cohesive décor strategies and master top tricks and tips for bringing seasonal beauty into your own home. A live demonstration will showcase some of her favorite holiday elements and offer inspiration to reimagine your décor with White House flair.
Book Signing
The program is expected to last approximately 60 minutes and concludes with a book signing, where guests will have the opportunity to purchase Laura’s highly anticipated new book, Designing Christmas, and celebrate with a toast to the season. There is a $35 book fee.
