Take advantage or special midweek pricing with our Meet & Play Meeting Package. Book your midweek group meeting with a minimum of two nights for a Sunday through Thursday stay and a minimum of 10 rooms per night and receive your choice of the following incentives:

Unlike any other meeting venue in the area, Boar’s Head has a full array of extracurricular activities for your team while at the resort. Our “Take Your Team for A Swing” offering provides meeting planners three distinct group activities that facilitate a fun and lively post-meeting experience. These experiences are managed by our professional staff at our Nest Par-3 Course, Ridges Putting Course or on our indoor or outdoor pickleball courts and are ideal for all skill levels including beginners or people who have never golfed or played pickleball before. 

Spring Forward - May & June Incentive

Spring is the time of renewal! Make plans now to rejuvenate at Virginia’s premier meeting destination. Whether you’re planning a corporate conference, a training session or a special event, our Spring Forward incentive is designed to meet your needs with a unique add-on that can be shared or used for your own personal enjoyment. Meeting planners that book their May or June 2024 event now with a $10,000 minimum spend will earn one of the following: 

  •     Dinner for two at the Mill Room Restaurant
  •     Two rounds of golf on the Championship Course at Birdwood Golf

Whether you’re a seasoned golfer or just looking to get outdoors and spend time with friends or coworkers, Ridges Putting Course is the place to be.

  • An 18-hole, one-acre putting green for fun and excitement! 
  • Groups of eight to 72 with per-person or group pricing that includes putters and balls. 
  • Individual or team competition formats available or just putt for fun. 
  • Options available with music and food as well as drinks on the course or at the clubhouse.

Pickleball is Fun for All!

Fitting a niche that falls gently between tennis and ping-pong, pickleball is an easy-to-play activity that can be wildly entertaining, even for people who have never picked up a paddle. Much less intimidating than tennis, the whiffle-style ball travels slower and the game is played on a court about half the size of a traditional tennis court. 

For the fun-loving crowd looking for an escape from their meeting, we have six outdoor courts and multiple indoor options, and our team can set up a group playing experience accompanied by a selection of light bites and beverages that will entertain all skill levels.

Golf for Non-Golfers

Reimagine how golf can be used as a vehicle to build comradery at The Nest Par-3 Course. This unique six-hole short course is enjoyed by all skill levels and can be played in an hour or less. The actual course and playing format and games created by our processional staff is perfect for players with little or no golf experience, making this the perfect getaway from your meeting or event.
