Our Charlottesville resort features three outdoor pools including a heated, six-lane, 25-meter lap pool, an activity pool, a baby pool, and an adults-only resort pool. The resort pool located adjacent to the spa and is open seasonally. The lap pool remains open all year and is heated throughout the colder months. Please call (434) 972-2235 for current operating hours and to reserve a lane for lap swimming.
The aquatics center will soon be undergoing a big renovation. The renovation will include upgrading the six-lane competition pool to an eight-lane, 25-yard competition pool. The competition pool will be heated in the winter to enable year-around use. Additionally, there will be a zero-entry pool with fountains, a slide that exits into a whirlpool feature, an enhanced food and beverage outlet with a rooftop terrace and cabanas.
The aquatics center will feature a new check-in desk and a grand entry overlooking the pools and resort grounds beyond the complex. This facility will be the perfect spot for family and friends to gather at Boar’s Head Resort.
Our outdoor 25-meter pool provides six lap lanes for fitness and competitive swimming, while our activity pool is perfect for recreation. A baby pool is also available.
Lifeguards are seasonal and hours may vary, and towel service is provided.
Sports Club pools will be closed at 3 p.m. for swim meets June 14, June 28 and July 12, 2023. As an alternative, the resort pool will open to all ages at those times.
The Resort Pool is directly adjacent to the spa building and is open to all adult resort guests and members. No reservations are required, though this is an adult-only pool.
Cabanas are available for reservation in four or eight-hour increments by calling the Sports Club front desk at (434) 972-2235. Rental includes towel service, non-alcoholic beverages and snacks.
