Guest Chef Rupert Blease

The Basque experience in our historic Hearth Room is an exquisite dining delicacy created by Guest Chef Rupert Blease from San Francisco's Lord Stanley Restaurant, a Michelin-starred Modern European restaurant.

For the past couple of years, Turntable at Lord Stanley has operated as a hub for world-renowned and up-and-coming chefs to collaborate. Now, Turntable has taken to the road and is collaborating with various chefs and restaurants across the nation, and we're happy to play host to some of this talent right here at Boar's Head Resort.

Basque Country Cuisine

The Basque Country is located between the border of France and Spain and is known for its strong culture and renowned cuisine. Basque cuisine is born from tradition and is influenced by both the seafront and the countryside. From the fish of the Cantabrian Sea to the crops cultivated inland, the ingredients found in Basque dishes are all local and embody the region in its entirety.

We're truly excited to bring Chef Rupert Blease's personal take on Basque fare, and all are invited to join us for a limited time to enjoy this unique dining experience in our historic Hearth Room.
