Boar's Head Outfitters Summer Camp - 2026

June 8 - August 7, 2026

Guide your kids into a program that’s epic in nature. Our Boar’s Head Outfitters team has an exciting line-up of outdoor-driven activities that’ll keep kids off their screens and lead them into an array of outdoor activities suitable for all ages.   • Age Range: 6-9 (Outdoor Base Camp) 10-13 (Expedition Camp).
  • Fee: $430 for a full-day weekly rate (8 a.m. - 4 p.m.)
  • Fee: $258 for the half-day weekly rate. (8 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. or 12:30 p.m. - 4 p.m.)
  • After care can be added for $15/day. (4 -5:30 p.m.)

There is a 10% discount for those who register for four or more weeks of camps.

Each week is a different theme with activities catered to that week’s theme. Your child will have the pleasure of exploring activities ranging from hiking to fire-building and orienteering. Meet the Team

Director

Matt Foster oversees summer camp and Boar’s Head Outfitter operations. He grew up in Bridgewater and studied Outdoor Leadership at Ferrum College. He joined Boar’s Head Outfitters in 2018.

Coordinator

Max Murphy joined Boars Head Outfitters in 2020 and now coordinates the day-to-day summer camp schedule and activities. He grew up right here in Charlottesville and studied Recreation Parks and Tourism at Radford University.
