Summer Senior Training

USA Swimming: May 15-July 27

Boar’s Head Sports Club is excited to offer an 11-week Summer Training program to continue development of senior swimmers! This program is an ideal fit for the established competitive swimmer wishing to improve their stroke technique, endurance and overall conditioning. Our experienced coaching staff will provide age-specific, individualized training for all athletes with an emphasis on teamwork, sportsmanship and fun. This 11-week session is an extension of our year-round program and maintains the standards and values of the sport of competitive swimming. 


To inspire and empower swimmers to achieve excellence in sport and life through age-specific and appropriate training for all athletes. Through coaching geared towards challenging and developing each athlete to the best of their abilities, our competitive program - overseen by Boar’s Head Lead USA Coaches Lauren Gander, Erin Lawson, and Lindsey Paulson - exemplifies the standards and values of the sport of swimming.

In order to ensure a safe practice environment for all athletes not currently registered with our program, every participant must register via the link below. Once registered, please await a confirmation email. Our coaches will reach out to arrange specific practice times that work best for your family. Please read program descriptions thoroughly to make sure that your child is signed up for the correct program level. If you have questions, please reach out to one of the coaches listed above.

Fees are billed with a 10% sibling discount for additional swimmers in the same family.  Fees will not be prorated for this program.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be received in writing two weeks prior to the start of the session to receive a full refund. We understand that illness and injuries happen. If cancellation notice is given with less than two weeks’ notice, a doctor’s note must be provided to receive a 50% refund.

Senior/National (High School – Six practices per week) 

This program primarily consists of ages 16 (minimum age of 14 with coaches’ recommendation) and older swimmers who have the ability, desire and commitment to advance their competitive swimming career. Workouts are designed to challenge athletes to develop their abilities in order to compete at their highest individual level possible. Our coaches meet swimmers at their current skill level to develop personalized goals, whether they are a beginner or elite level.  Stroke technique remains a cornerstone. Emphasis is placed on leadership and community service, creating a positive environment for well-rounded young adults. Swimmers are expected to consistently commit to four to five practices per week. Dryland training is also incorporated to increase athletes’ overall strength and conditioning. Our goal as coaches is to develop your swimmer from a holistic perspective - investing in social, academic, and athletic proficiency.

Thursday beginning June 15

5:45 - 7:20 a.m.

6:20 - 8:20 a.m. 

Saturday 6:30 - 8:30 a.m.

Additional Training Options:

Dryland Training - Tuesdays 7:45-8:45 a.m. in Studio 4 (included in the summer session fee)

Yoga for Athletes - Wednesdays (June 14, June 21, June 28, and July 5) 7:45-8:30 a.m. (included in the summer session fee)

Shoulder/Core Strength and Mobility (Corrective Exercise) - Fridays 12:30-1:30 p.m. (June 16, June 23, June 30, July 7, July 21 *no class July 14 due to Senior Champs*)
 This 6-week session is $50 for members/$75 for non-members.  

Small Group Training - Training specifically geared toward swimmers’ needs for power and strength conditioning. One-on-one sessions are also available. Please contact Sarah Bright for more information.
