Charlottesville Women's Open

Boar’s Head Resort is proud to host the Women’s Open benefiting The Haven in Charlottesville, VA. The Women's Open is is a Challenger and USTA Pro Circuit event featuring some of the top women's talent in the world. The Haven is a multi-resource day shelter in downtown Charlottesville that offers a welcoming, safe place for the homeless.

Before many players progressed and became stars, they started on the USTA Pro Circuit and developed their games which carried them to the top of the WTA rankings. Danielle Collins, Madison Keys and Jessica Pegula all competed at the Boar's Head Resort Women’s Open presented by Har-Tru and were all quarterfinalists in this year’s Australian Open. Some other notable players who have competed at this event include Jelena Jankovic (career high #1); Samantha Stosur (career high #4); Anna Kournikova (career high #8); and Dominika Ciblukova (career high #10).

Volunteer for the Women's Open

Volunteering for The Women's Open means that you'll have exclusive access to all of the action! We are currently accepting volunteers for ball persons and more! Select your day below for a volunteer opportunity.

Fan Fest

The Fan Fest at this year's Women's Open will run during the weekend events (Friday-Sunday) starting at noon each day. Raclette on the Run food truck will be on site Friday until 1:30 p.m. and Saturday will feature our famous Boar's Head barbecue. Craft beer lovers can enjoy a Three Notch'd tasting on Friday and Saturday from noon until 2 p.m. Both adults and kids will enjoy the lawn games and kid's activities.
