Operation 36 Golf is our flagship player development program, and we are proud to offer 8-week semesters for juniors of all skill levels (age groups of 7-10 and 11-16). Operation 36 is centered around learning through playing on the course allowing golfers to progress through the program by learning to score 36 (or better) for 9 holes.

Begins April 13

The Nest Junior League is for junior golfers looking to improve their playing skills and some friendly competition. Team numbers are determined by number of participants. Teams will be drawn at random at the first session. Teams will play and work together all season to earn the most points. Points are earned differently every week, closest to the pins, least number of putts, most greens hit, etc. The 5-week session includes skills practice and match days.

For juniors 11+ years old who regularly play and are comfortable playing a round of golf on their own.

Saturday, May 23

 Learn how to improve on speed control, green reading, and start line to lower your scores in this comprehensive master class on putting. Boar’s Head Golf Academy will give you the tools in this school to understand a long-term plan for putting improvement and more consistency on the greens. During the putting school you will get an opportunity to use UVA’s world class putting room and practice facilities with Zen green stage and SAM putt lab to get a full picture of the improvement opportunity in your putting performance.

Our Birdwood Golf professional staff hosts a series of summer camps for young golfers learning to improve their skills. Let your kids have fun while learning a lifelong sport.

At Cavalier Golf Camp, instruction is delivered by highly experienced coaches who are dedicated to fostering both skill development and a love for the game. The emphasis is not only on improving technique but also on creating a fun and engaging atmosphere where campers can thrive. With a focus on teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth, participants are encouraged to challenge themselves while making lifelong memories with fellow campers.

Friday, Oct. 2

This fun social scramble offers the opportunity for women to play with the pros! Enjoy a nine-hole scramble that includes two glasses of wine, a cart and the opportunity to win fun prizes. All members are invited and may bring a non-member guest.

Your registration fee includes two glasses of wine, a cart and a shot at winning some prizes. All members are welcome and may bring a non-member guest. The program will run from 4- 6 p.m. and has a $55 fee.
