Woodbird 9-Hole Challenge

Saturday, Feb. 28

Experience the Championship course from a new point of view in the Woodbird 9-Hole Challenge, featuring a cross-country alternate layout.

3-Club Challenge

Saturday, March 14

Your arsenal will include a choice of three clubs to navigate the Birdwood layout. This event is open to all members and guests of members with an active GHIN handicap. Guests of members are also invited to join the fun. Prizes will be awarded for the lowest scores.

Spring Scramble

Sunday, March 29

Our first major event for the warm-weather season will have golfers out in droves, so be sure to register early. The Nest Club Championships

Saturday, May 23

The Nest is your test for our annual par-3 championship. This event is open to all members, and there will be a separate division for juniors, men and women.

Member-Guest Tournament

Friday, June 5 - Sunday, June 7

Our annual Member-Guest tournament will be a two-person, round-robin event with a best-ball format on the top-ranked championship course at Birdwood Golf. Enjoy a full weekend of food, golf-related festivities and fun with companions.

Men's Club Championship

Saturday, July 11 - Sunday, July 12

This is competitive golf at its finest, and the top eight will qualify for the Men's Matchplay Club Championship in August.

Prizes will be awarded to the winner and runner up of each division. Golfers will be split into divisions after the first day based on scores.

Senior Men's Club Championship

Saturday, July 18 - Sunday, July 19

Must be 50 years of age or older (65 years and older for Super Senior division). The top eight will qualify for the Men's Matchplay Club Championship in August.

Prizes will be awarded to the winner and runner up of each division.

Women's Club Championship

Sunday, July 19

This is competitive golf at its finest, and the top four will qualify for the Women's Matchplay Club Championship in August.

Prizes will be awarded to the winner and runner up of each division. Golfers will be split into divisions after the first day based on scores.

Birdwood Matchplay Club Championship

Saturday, Aug. 8 - Sunday, Aug. 9

The top finishers from the July Championships all compete in a knockout format to win the right to be crowned Birdwood's Matchplay Club Champion.

No registration - you must play your way in.

Member-Member Tournament

Saturday, October 3 - Sunday, October 4

Join your fellow members in this weekend event that’ll be a wonderful chance to test your skills before heading into the fall golf season. Teams will be separated into flights based on handicap indexes, and prizes will be awarded to the winners and runner-ups in each flight..

Brunch and early dinner will be served both days as well as beverages on the course. There will also be tee gifts and fun contests for all participants.

Fall Scramble

With a full spring and summer season in the rear-view mirror, help us celebrate the end to another great season with a fun competition. This tournament is open to all Birdwood and Sports Club members and their guests, so the field could be vast.
