3-Club Tournament

Saturday, March 2

Your arsenal will include a choice of three clubs to navigate the Birdwood layout. This event is open to all members and guests of members with an active GHIN handicap. Guests of members are also invited to join the fun. Prizes will be awarded for the lowest scores.

The Nest One-Club Tournament

Monday, April 1

One club and one ball is good for all for this April Fool's Day event that will be individual stroke play for men and women. A nominal $10 fee will be charged to all Sports Club and Birdwood members, but guests are also encouraged to join the fun (regular guest green fees will apply). Tee times will be assigned from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m., and prizes will be awarded for both divisions.

Spring Scramble

Sunday, April 14

Our first major event for the warm-weather season will have golfers out in droves, so be sure to register early. The Spring Scramble is an ABCD scramble format with a shotgun start on the 18-hole Championship Course at Birdwood Golf. Women's Nest Event

Wednesday, April 24

Join us for a fun six holes on The Nest to begin the golf season. The event will begin with a 5 p.m. shotgun start. Golf will be followed by a social gathering of the Birdwood women members. The Nest Club Championships

Sunday, May 19

The Nest is your test for our annual par-3 championship. This event is open to all members, and there will be a separate division for juniors, men and women.

Member-Guest Tournament

Friday, May 31 - Sunday, June 2

Our annual Member-Guest tournament will be a two-person, round-robin event with a best-ball format on the top-ranked championship course at Birdwood Golf. Enjoy a full weekend of food, golf-related festivities and fun with companions.

Women's Drive for Show Tournament

Monday, June 10

Come out to the Birdwood championship course and enjoy the wonderful late spring weather. The event will begin with a 9 a.m. shotgun start. Drive for show and enjoy some great camaraderie during this fun event. This is a member-managed event. Strokeplay Club Championships (Men & Women)

Saturday, July 6 - Sunday, July 7

This is competitive golf at its finest, and the top eight men and top four women will qualify for the Matchplay Club Championship in August.

Prizes will be awarded to the winner and runner up of each division. Golfers will be split into divisions after the first day based on scores.

Strokeplay Club Championships (Seniors)

Saturday, July 13 - Sunday, July 14

This is a prime chance for our over-50 members to square off against fellow members. The top 8 will qualify for the Senior Men's Matchplay Club Championship in August.

Matchplay Club Championships (All Players)

Saturday, August 10 - Sunday, August 11

The top finishers from the July Stroke-Play Championship all compete in a knockout format to win the right to be crowned Birdwood's Matchplay Club Champion.

No registration - you must play your way in.

Ridges Putting Championships

Sunday, October 13

Tour all 18 holes at your own leisure on Ridges Putting Course, and turn your scorecard in at the end. Lowest score will earn the status of Birdwood's junior, men's and women's putting champion.

Member-Member Tournament

Saturday, Oct. 19 - Sunday, Oct. 20

Join your fellow members in this weekend event that’ll be a wonderful chance to test your skills before heading into the fall golf season. Teams will be separated into flights based on handicap indexes, and prizes will be awarded to the Winners and runner-ups in each flight..

Breakfast and lunch will be served both days and beverages will also be on the course, and we’ll have tee gifts for all participants.

Fall Scramble

Sunday, November 17

With a full spring and summer season in the rear-view mirror, help us celebrate the end to another great season with a fun competition. This tournament is open to all Birdwood and Sports Club members and their guests, so the field could be vast.
